I’ve never been that into Fender tones (amp-wise at least) before but the whole Supersonic line has definitely changed my opinion. Beautiful clean channel that breaks up really nicely around 4-5 on the dial, classic Blackface tone, but a bit cleaner/clearer/I dunno what word to use. It’s not uncontrollably woofy like your average DRRI would be at the same volume. Boosted it sounds huge. I love the dirty channel as well, the two gain controls really let you dial the amp in very precisely. Great reverb of course and my TC stuff sounds great in the loop. Only thing I’d change is the stock speaker (a Lightning Bolt) cause it’s got a bit of that Hot Rod Deluxe-ish honk in the mids, but it sounds great regardless. Oh, and it’s MASSIVE pushing a 4x12.
